CONTINUES THE EXPLORATION OF SCULPTURAL FORM.  BY SETTING A NUMBER OF PARAMETERS WITHIN THE DESIGN PROCESS – EXPERIMENTATION THROUGH UTILISING THE CAPABILITIES OF THE KNITTING MACHINE leads to new design outcomes. MATERIALS SUCH AS WOOL, STEEL AND YAK ALLOW FOR THE DISCOVERY OF NEW FORMS. INSPIRATION IS DRAWN FROM PREHISTORIC SITEs. BY PORTRAYING SITE features and textures THROUGH KNIT, EACH pieces EVOLVES ORGANICALLY, WHERE SURFACE PATTERN AND STRUCTURED MOTIFS ARE PART OF THE GARMENTS STRUCTURE AND FORM.
